We have gathered some of our amazing HPSA results for October 2019, all in one spot! Check out the posts below in case you missed out on some amazing performances that have been posted on the USC High Performance Instagram Account – @USC.HighPerformance throughout the month of October.

1. Keeley Coutts @keeley.coutts8 (Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science) placed 1st in both the 800m and 1500m and 2nd in the 400m up in Townsville during the North Queensland Championships! Keeley also qualified in all three events for Nationals in 2020!

2. Broncos player @hayleymaddick (BEd(Sec)/BRecOutEnvStudies) was awarded the maiden NRL Touch Premiership Player at the 2019 Dally M Awards ⭐️😁

3. HPSA golfer @katie_prycejones placed 3rd down at UniGames in Gold Coast earlier this month 😃⭐️  

4. During the Elite Athlete Education Network event hosted by @theais_ , our very own USC High Performance Student Athlete Program Coordinator Tania Stevenson was one of the speakers ⭐️😁 Who better to talk about how to support elite athletes than this woman – Congratulations! 🏆

5. Kristy attended the Sport Australia Hall of Game where she was inducted as a mentor into their scholarship and mentoring program 🤩 She was matched with junior water ski athlete Sade Ferguson! Kristy was herself inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame for her achievements in surf lifesaving in 2016 👏🏽 

6. A sports kit drive championed by Sunshine Coast Lightning’s Peace Proscovia to send back home to Uganda is one step away from becoming a reality ⭐️ @proscoviapeace is currently looking for a sponsor to cover the transportation from the Sunshine Coast to Kampala, estimated to cost $6,000 🙏🏽 For further information about helping to get these sports products to Uganda, please contact me at hpsport@usc.edu.au 👈🏽

7. @megradcliffe16 competed in the WORLD Ironman Championship! 🏆 Meg swam 3.8km (1.07), biked 180km (6.42) and ran 42.4km (5.14) – huge performance and this is what HPSA is all about 🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️⭐️

8. Congrats to @sophia_beninca (B Biomedical Science) for placing 1st in both 2A and 2C dressage with her horse Charisma 🤩🐴 @sandy_creek_stables

9. Congratulations to @yolandieweirtraining (B Clinical Exercise Physiology) with taking home the silver at the Australian Weightlifting Titles🤩🏆🥈
